Do you know who is first invented diode ?

Frederick Guthrie invented the diode in 1873, but did not put it into practical use. 

Many people dont know Thomas Alva Edison made the earlier diode. Thomas Edison independently developed DIODE in 1880 and then used it in his 1883 patent of the incandescent light bulb.
